there’s always this thing that happens to me in january where the newness of the new year falls away, the warmth of christmas wears off, and the chill of the reality of winter just totally sets in. i think i’ve crossed that threshold. i have a vacation planned with my mom at the very end of february, but it’s looking like february will be very long, indeed. /////but here we go.

Sometimes, you just have to look at all the crap in front of you and say, “I’m tired, I’ll deal with this tomorrow,” and take some deep breaths and go to sleep. Staying up worried won’t help anybody.
